Teresa Vu is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Counseling and a background in mental health and substance use. She is committed to providing holistic, accessible, and culturally informed care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Teresa is bilingual and offers services in both English and Vietnamese.
Teresa is passionate about helping clients break unhealthy cycles, build emotional regulation skills, and work through ruminating negative thought patterns using a variety of therapeutic modalities. She incorporates narrative therapy into her practice, helping clients separate themselves from their problems and reframe the stories they tell about themselves. Teresa believes in the healing power of authentic connection and tailors therapy to each client’s needs and goals. After building rapport, she gently challenges clients to grow beyond unhelpful patterns and move toward the version of themselves they want to be.
She has a particular interest in working with adults navigating anxiety or life transitions, offering compassion and support through the emotional and psychological complexities of being a human. Teresa also has experience working with neurodivergent individuals, providing a safe and empowering space to explore their unique challenges and strengths.
In her free time, Teresa enjoys crocheting, building Legos, being in nature, and exploring local events.
